Celebrating Our Small Businesses

It’s Small Business Week! In a world where you can shop anywhere, please choose to shop local! When you shop small, you’re making a BIG impact for your local community and economy. 

Did you know? Kanata, Stittsville, Bells Corners, and Carp are home to over 2,900 small businesses. Please join me this week in celebrating our local businesses by:

  • Sharing your favourites 

  • Writing reviews 

  • Ordering delivery or pick-up 

  • Buying gift cards 

  • Considering buying food that has been grown locally

I love starting my days in one of the many amazing coffee shops we have in our community and picking up local produce at the Kanata Farmers’ Market and Carp Farmers’ Market, not to mention the many restaurants, breweries, and other small businesses we are fortunate to have in Kanata, Stittsville, Bells Corners, and Carp.

Now more than ever, our local small businesses need our support. Please continue to support local in any way you can. Every little helps!
