ClubLink Update: My Letter to Dr. Fullerton

Earlier today, I sent a letter to Dr. Fullerton, voicing my concerns with the recent Ontario Land Tribunal ruling and echoing the asks she received from Kanata North Councillor Curry. A copy of the letter is available here.

I know how much this greenspace means to our community, and I am proud of the fight we have fought since ClubLink announced their intention to pursue options for the development of the Kanata Golf & Country Club lands on December 14, 2018. Many residents have been engaged throughout the process, attending townhalls, holding fundraising events, knocking on doors to ensure everyone in our community was well informed, not to mention submitting hundreds of letters and emails on the issue.

Today I am asking you to write one more letter. Please consider sharing your concerns with MPP Fullerton as well. The Office of Councillor Curry and the Kanata Greenspace Protection Coalition shared a template you could use, which is available here.

I appreciate that this process has been frustrating, hard to follow, and created much uncertainty for our community. Please know, there are still avenues available that must be explored in order to stop this development, and I am committed to working towards that end.

Many thanks,

Jenna
