Join the Kanata Youth Council

The Kanata Youth Council is a council for students, run by students.

High school and university students from Kanata, Stittsville, Bells Corners, and Carp are encouraged to apply to learn more about the Parliamentary process, government institutions, and how to make change in our community.

Members will be able to participate in an internal election, propose policy changes within caucus, and speak to their Member of Parliament, Jenna Sudds, about the issues they wish to see addressed by the federal government.

The Kanata Youth Council meets on the last Friday of each month.

The deadline for registration is October 2, 2026.
