Canada Strong

I’d like to extend my congratulations to Prime Minister Mark Carney on being sworn in as Canada’s 24th Prime Minister.

This is a defining moment for Canada – how we act will affect Canadians for generations to come. I can think of no better team to do that than Mark Carney, and my colleagues who were sworn into Cabinet today.

I know that as Canadians we will go to great lengths to defend our sovereignty, our democracy, our identity, and our culture. I remain fully committed to supporting our government as we protect Canada from President Trump, and the senseless and unjustified trade war he has waged against us.

I am particularly grateful to my constituents of Kanata–Carleton who have placed their trust in me as their Member of Parliament. It’s an honour of a lifetime to serve you. I am here to defend you, your jobs, and your livelihoods. Now, and into the future.
