Putin thought his invasion would be a quick victory, but he was mistaken. 365 days and counting, Ukraine stands strong.
FedDev Ontario invests nearly $1 million for Evik Diagnostic Innovations Inc.
On January 24th, Jenna Sudds, Member of Parliament for Kanata–Carleton, on behalf of the Honourable Filomena Tassi, Minister responsible for the Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario (FedDev Ontario), announced an investment of nearly $1 million for Kanata medical diagnostics company, Evik Diagnostic Innovations Inc. (EVIK Diagnostics) to upgrade equipment and automate processes to improve efficiency and productivity.

Canada Dental Benefit Now Available
The interim Canada Dental Benefit is intended to help lower dental costs for eligible families earning less than $90,000 per year.
Parents and guardians can apply if the child receiving dental care is under 12 years old and does not have access to a private dental insurance plan.

New Foreign Shipments of Children’s Medications Secured
This week, we have obtained foreign shipments of months’ worth of children’s cold medications to relieve the ongoing shortages. This medication will be available for sale at retail and community pharmacies as soon as posssible—within the coming weeks.
The Ministry of Health is expecting more delivers over the next few weeks.
Doubled GST Tax Credit Rebates Arriving Today
Inflation relief is being delivered across Kanata—Carleton today.
I’m delighted to share that, through our government’s Cost of Living Relief Act, we have doubled the GST Tax Credit for 11 million Canadians for the next six months. This relief will help middle-class Canadians make ends meet while prices are high and household budgets are strained.
Greener Homes Grant Quarterly Update
The Canada Greener Homes Initiative has issued $69 million in grants to almost 19,000 homeowners!
Since the Canada Greener Homes Loan launched on June 17, 2022 more than 3,200 homeowners have applied for a Loan.
