Set in the heart of Area X.O, the DARTT Zone is a high-tech obstacle course, which features specialized infrastructure that puts aerial and ground robots through rigorous tests and challenges in mixed terrain and diverse weather to assess and advance their performance, safety, and market readiness.

To the students of AY Jackson, Earl of March, Holy Trinity, Maurice-Lapointe and West Carleton, congratulations.

I hope they look back on their high school years as wonderful memories with amazing teachers and fabulous friendships that will last a lifetime.

I’d like to start today’s update with a shoutout to my team who is incredibly busy behind the scenes, assisting Kanata—Carleton constituents with various federal issues, such as passport renewal applications, immigration inquiries, work permits, tax filing services, and more.

Assisting constituents in this way is some of the most personal and fulfilling work of being a Member of Parliament, but it wouldn’t be possible without my team and their compassion.

The flood levels are currently below what residents experienced in the spring of 2017 and 2019. However, residents whose properties and neighbourhoods have experienced flooding in the past 20 years should expect flooding this week. This includes Constance and Buckham’s Bay, along Barlow Crescent to Pinhey’s Point.

Childcare fees across Ontario are continuing to be reduced, on their way to $10-a-day in Ontario and across Canada thanks to the federal government’s national early learning and childcare plan.
