The Toronto-Quebec City corridor is a megaregion. It’s home to 18 million people, 40 per cent of our GDP, over 700,000 students, and more than 30 colleges and universities. This dynamic hub needs a transportation system that gets people from city to city, in the fastest time possible.

Our government is committed to developing policies and advocating for robust support systems to ensure seniors are well cared for as they transition out of the workforce. It's simply the right thing to do. Today, I’d like to highlight measures our government put in place to make life more affordable.

After months of work, I’m very proud that myself and my local Liberal MP colleagues have secured almost $220 million in investments in Ottawa’s public transit infrastructure, and in housing supports for the most vulnerable in our City.

2024 was a challenging year for many – it motivated me to get down to work and deliver more for you. Whether that be attracting investments in jobs and growing our local economy, in affordable housing or in programs that lower costs for families and seniors.

This morning, Prime Minister Trudeau has announced his resignation. It’s been a busy day of urgent meetings. But, I thought it was important to take a moment and answer your questions about what this means — for the country, and for us in Kanata-Carleton.

And just like that, another year is coming to an end. As the House of Commons breaks for Christmas, I look forward to spending more time in our community, and with family and friends. Here’s hoping for more snow in time for Christmas for some cross-country skiing in our beautiful community!

Thanksgiving, Halloween and the changing of the leaves in between. It really feels like fall in Kanata passes by in a flash… and this October was a pretty special month – packed full of excitement.
